Research Interests
I received my B.S. in Applied Chemistry from the Kumoh National Institute of Technology in 2015, and my Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST) in 2023, under the guidance of Prof. Wonyoung Choe. My research focused on the rational design and synthesis of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) utilizing porphyrins and nanographenes, targeting advanced functionalities such as electrocatalysis, gas and water sorption, and energy transfer.
In the Feng group, I work on direct air capture (DAC) and carbon capture using systematically designed porous materials to contribute to the development of DAC and carbon capture technologies and to the mitigation of global climate change.
